There are many aspects that need to be considered when planning a Funeral. We understand that it may be a first time that a family has to deal with arranging a funeral of a loved one, and therefore it may cause added stress to them at an already difficult time. Rest assured that we will deal with all arrangements and carry out the funeral as per the Family’s instructions.
Funerals can be expensive, therefore we will advise families of the costs incurred. Whatever options you choose, you can be assured that our services will be of the highest standard and will also include the highest standard of respect and dignity towards the deceased and the family. Coffins range in price from €960 for a standard cremation type and rise to €2,600 for a solid oak.
There are two parts to our funeral bill:
Funeral Directors Account.
These charges include :
- The coffin chosen by the family.
- Removal of remains from a Hospital, Nursing Home or Private Residence to our Funeral Home for embalming, preparation, dressing and presentation of the deceased for viewing at their residence or at our funeral home.
- Liaising with third parties such as Hospital Mortuary, Nursing Home, Doctors, Coroner, Clergy, Gravediggers, Newspapers, etc.
- Prepare all necessary paperwork for cremation or repatriation.
- Oversee and officiate during the course of the Funeral.
Please be advised that we do not charge for the use of our Funeral Home. Some families may choose to bring their loved one home for a private family wake, followed by a public viewing at the Funeral Home before the removal to the Church.
Although same day catholic funerals are becoming popular, the Church charges per funeral irrelevant of whether the family chooses an evening removal and next day funeral mass.

We have upgraded our Funeral Home Facility, to include a live streaming service via our webcam, so that prayer services can be viewed by family and friends unable to attend. This link can be accessed via a laptop, pc, tablet or mobile phone. Private messages of condolences may also be left on our condolence page and can then be relayed to the family later.
